Since 1987, Junior Achievement of Central Ohio (JA), a Columbus-based nonprofit, has celebrated community and business leaders in our region by inducting them into the Central Ohio Business Hall of Fame.

Hall of Fame laureates embody business excellence, courageous thinking and action, vision and innovation, inspirational leadership, and community support.

We are excited to announce the 2022 Hall of Fame Laureates: Michael B. Coleman, Partner-in-Charge Government Law, Ice Miller and Jeffrey W. Edwards, President, CEO and Chairman, Installed Building Products and Edwards Companies.

JA honors Hall of Fame Laureates for their contributions to our region’s economic development and their commitment to business excellence. Laureates are role models for their peers, and ultimately for Central Ohio’s K-12 students that JA serves.

Additionally, a portion of all dollars raised through the Central Ohio Business Hall of Fame help fund two scholarships given annually to two area high school students to be used towards future education or career certificates. The scholarships are given in honor of our Laureates each year.

2022 Hall of Fame Honorees

Michael B. Coleman, Partner-in-Charge Government Law, Ice Miller & Jeffrey W. Edwards, President, CEO and Chairman, Installed Building Products and Edwards Companies.

As mayor of Columbus, Ohio from January 1, 2000 to January 1, 2016, Michael B. Coleman was recognized for his leadership by media outlets including Time Magazine, The New York Times, and Ebony Magazine. Now, Coleman leads Ice Miller’s legal and professional team in connection with creating partnerships between business and government.

Since 1988, Jeffrey W. Edwards has been involved in the launch of many business ventures in central Ohio in a variety of industries, including multi-family and student housing development and management, industrial tool distribution, wholesale building supply, homebuilding, land and real estate development and real estate brokerage. Edwards has served as President, CEO, and Chairman of Installed Building Products (IBP) for more than a decade.
