We all know that 'it takes a village...' and we hope you'll sign up to be a part of ours! JA's Volunteer Village includes people who want to be contacted to fill individual volunteer spots and/or help fill in the gaps at group volunteer
events.

JA offers several volunteer opportunities designed to be adopted by solo volunteers, like JA Career Speaker sessions and some JA It's My Business events. Also, suppose a corporate or community group has adopted a group volunteer event such as a JA BizTown or JA Finance Park day but does not have enough people to fill all of their volunteer spots. In that case, JA will contact the Volunteer Village to see if anyone can slot in to save the day.

Being a part of JA's Volunteer Village can allow individual volunteers an opportunity to participate in all of JA's volunteer experiences - even those that are typically reserved for larger corporate or community groups. It also allows people who typically sign up to volunteer a few times a year with their corporate or community group, an opportunity to volunteer even more of their time, without having to wait for their organization to adopt a group JA event.
