Accenture & JA Spring 2022 Capstone Program

Accenture Columbus’ Cloud Innovation Center (CIC) and Junior Achievement of Central Ohio are partnering to put on an 8-week unpaid capstone program consisting of 8-10 Columbus area high school juniors & seniors. Students will be paired into groups of 2 and will select from 2-3 business problems for their project. They will then work to solve that problem with a creative technical solution throughout the duration of the program. Each student pair will have access to an Accenture CIC technology expert as a mentor. The program will kick off with a 2-3 hour orientation on March 14th, will have weekly touchpoints throughout the 8 weeks, and will culminate with a Capstone Showcase and celebration of the students’ achievements in early May.

The program will be entirely free to the students; there is no application fee or fee for participating in the program. The program location will be hybrid, adjusting between virtual and in person based on the current situation with COVID-19. If a component of the program is able to be held in person, students will be responsible for providing their own transportation. Access to a computer is necessary; however, no prior technology experience is required of the students to participate in the program.
