JA Inspire® Advanced (Grades 9-12)
JA Inspire® Advanced is a career-pathway program, brought to life by our region’s employers. The program exposes students to Central Ohio’s jobs, career opportunities, and education pathways while planning their high school coursework. Students will learn about careers in various industries and uncover where they might excel in the working world. After completing their coursework, students will attend our in-person career playground event.
This program is delivered in the classroom and culminates in a career exploration event at an off-site location in either Franklin or Muskingum County.
JA Inspire – Advanced Overview

Junior Achievement Finance Park® Advanced (Grades 9-12)
JA Finance Park® is an immersive program designed to provide middle and high school students with essential financial literacy and career exploration skills. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on simulation, students learn to make informed financial decisions that will benefit them throughout their lives.
JA Finance Park® is offered at both the Columbus and Newark Learning Centers, providing students across Central Ohio with the tools and knowledge to navigate their financial futures confidently.
JA Finance Park Advanced Overview

JA Financial Literacy® Semester Course (Grades 9-12)
Students learn foundational personal finance skills, including how to earn and save money, create and use a budget, manage credit and debt, assess risks and use insurance, and address financial problems. They also get an introduction to investing, the stock market, and the global environment, including spending habits, business etiquette, and exchange rates. In the semester-long project, students apply the information from the course to their own lives and develop plans to help meet their personal financial goals.
This semester-long course is taught in the classroom by an educator and meets Ohio’s graduation requirements.
JA Future Ready Leaders® (Grades 9-12)
This leadership development learning experience prepare high school students to lead through character, communication, and intentional decision-making. Rather than learning about leadership in the abstract, students practice it in realistic situations, reflect on how they respond, and apply those skills in an authentic classroom setting.
JA Be Entrepreneurial® (Grades 9-12)
JA Be Entrepreneurial® is a reimagined, modular learning experience that teaches students about the mindset and the skills needed for success by aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators who add value to any organization. Students completing all three modules use Design Thinking, a problem-solving approach, to create business ideas. Students also learn to transform their ideas into concise, effective, and actionable one-page business plans.
JA Company Program® (Grades 9-12)
JA Company Program® empowers high school students to fill a need or solve a problem in their community and teaches them practical skills required to conceptualize, capitalize, and manage their own business venture. Community volunteers and mentors provide real-world guidance and experience to the student-led startup.
JA It’s My Job® (Grades 9-12)
JA It’s My Job® helps students understand the value of professional communication and soft skills, making them more employable to future employers across multiple career clusters. Lessons focus on social and soft skill competencies that relate real-life experiences to job skills and prepare students for their future careers. Topics include communication and presentation skills, manners, listening skills, and cell phone etiquette.
