Volunteer Champions Committee (VCC)
Looking to grow your leadership experience, expand your network, and make a real difference in Central Ohio? The Junior Achievement Volunteer Champions Committee (VCC) is a dynamic group of professionals who recruit and inspire others to volunteer with JA. As a committee member, you’ll serve as a key liaison between JA and your organization, leading volunteer outreach, hosting trainings, and helping set community engagement goals.

Want to make a difference, but not sure where to start? Join the Volunteer Village, a network of individual volunteers we call on when we need extra hands at a school event or one of our Learning Centers. You’ll get the chance to inspire local students and volunteer when it fits your schedule, no group or long-term commitment required.

Last week, we were honored to welcome the Ohio School for the Deaf back to our Columbus Experiential Learning Center. This experience pushed us to think more intentionally about how our spaces and programs serve every student.
From early ...collaboration with educators, interpreters, and accessibility experts to physical changes in our Learning Center, our team worked to remove barriers and create a more inclusive experience at JA BizTown and JA Finance Park. We learned that accessibility improvements don’t just benefit one group, they make learning better for all.
